DevelopmentBucket is a SaaS platform currently serving 5,000+ customers in India. DevelopmentBucket is a trademark of CodeWare IT Pvt Ltd. After signing up, you receive an admin panel where you can create accounts and websites for your clients.
Why share leads instead of building every website yourselves?
Our goal is to build a better website platform, not run a web design agency. We share website enquiries with our partners, so freelancers and agencies can speak directly with clients, understand their needs, and build their websites on DevelopmentBucket.
What happens if I get zero conversions?
Your purchase is for platform credits. Leads are included to help you find clients, but conversions are not guaranteed. You can still use your credits to build websites for your own clients. Buying another package adds credits and its included lead allocation.
Will I receive an invoice or GST bill?
Yes. You receive a GST invoice after payment. All listed plan prices include GST.
Leads & opportunities
Where do the leads come from? Are they fresh or recycled?
Leads come from enquiries generated by our Google and Meta advertising for website services and the platform. We receive 4,000+ enquiries a month.
Which cities, languages, and business categories do leads cover?
Leads come from across India. At DevelopmentBucket, we try to match you with leads from your city whenever possible. A particular city, language, or business category is not guaranteed.
When and where will I receive my leads?
Website enquiries are shared in your partner dashboard every day. The number of leads can vary, and a fixed time of day is not specified.
What if a phone number is wrong or a lead is uninterested?
Around 5–10% of leads may have incorrect contact information. If you receive an invalid number, contact our WhatsApp support team. We may allocate additional leads after reviewing the issue on a case-by-case basis. Lead interest and conversions vary, and no conversion rate is guaranteed.
Pricing, credits & renewals
How do credits work? How many does one website need?
One credit covers one month of a website subscription on our platform. A full year uses 12 credits. Credits are deducted only when you create a website or renew an existing one. The standard reseller annual cost is ₹2,400 per website.
What does renewal cost for partners and retail customers?
Retail renewal is ₹3,270 per year. Standard reseller renewal is ₹2,400 per year. Larger credit packages can reduce the reseller cost to ₹1,800 per year.
How much should I charge my client?
Our ads typically show website prices between ₹8,000 and ₹15,000. Set your own project price based on the design, scope, and services you deliver.
How do I earn from renewals?
You can renew a client’s website using your credits and set your own service price. If the client renews directly, the stated partner earning is ₹817 per annual renewal. Confirm payout timing and eligibility with the team.
Can I get a refund if I do not close a deal?
No. All sales are final and non-refundable, including if you do not convert any leads.

Can I add custom code and create my own designs?
Yes. Use AI-assisted design, add custom code, create custom themes, or design a website from scratch. Our DbThemeStudio extension lets you work directly on your theme in Visual Studio Code, with Codex AI available to help you write and refine code. The default theme also works well for almost every type of business, giving you a flexible starting point.
Which payment gateways and shipping options are available? Will I receive a GST invoice?
DevelopmentBucket supports major Indian payment gateways, including Razorpay, Cashfree and PhonePe, along with UPI payments and shipping integrations. Additional payment gateways can be integrated on request. Partner purchases include a GST invoice.
Who handles hosting, SSL, and downtime support?
DevelopmentBucket manages platform hosting with a 24/7 DevOps team. Contact the team on WhatsApp for technical issues. Confirm SSL provisioning and any uptime or response-time commitments during onboarding.
Are website backups included?
Databases are backed up every 24 hours with a month of retention. Files are backed up in three locations.

Yes. You can offer additional services such as SEO, advertising, and maintenance. The supplied partner terms exclude selling a competing platform; confirm the scope of that restriction with the team.
Is there a partner community or support team?
The partner program is building an agency community. A support team is available daily from 10 am to 6 pm via chat or Google Meet, with training on creating websites.
